Notice of Service Termination
Thank you for using ANA GranWhale.
We regret to inform you that "ANA GranWhale" will be ending service at 3:00 PM (JST) on February 28 (Friday), 2025.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our customers for your continued support and apologize for the sudden announcement.
To ensure that you can continue to enjoy "ANA GranWhale" until the service ends, we will be holding special events.
Please check the in-app notification that will be posted at a later date for more details.
Below is the schedule leading up to the service termination.

At 4:00 PM (JST) on January 16 (Thursday), 2025 - End of purchasing service of "Paid V-Miles" and the conversion of ANA Miles to "Expiring Free V-Miles": At 9:59 AM (JST) on January 22 (Wednesday), 2025
*You may still use any paid, free, or expiring free V-Miles you currently hold until the service ends.
Please note that any Grand Chips you hold at the time of service termination will expire, regardless of their expiration date.- Service Termination: At 3:00 PM (JST) on February 28 (Friday), 2025
*After the service ends, you will no longer be able to log into the "ANA GranWhale" app.
- Start of Refund Requests for Unused Paid V-Miles: (Schedule): At 3:00 PM (JST) on February 28 (Friday), 2025
*Details regarding the refund process will be provided later, both in-app and on this website.
- End of Refund Requests for Unused Paid V-Miles (Schedule): At 10:00 AM (JST) on April 30 (Wednesday), 2025

- Any unused paid V-Miles you hold at the time of service termination can be refunded if you make a request within the refund period (February 28, 2025, 3:00 PM (JST) to April 30, 2025, 10:00 AM (JST)).
More information will be provided later in-app and on the official website. - When requesting a refund, please be aware that we may need to verify your account data. If you are planning to uninstall or change your device, make sure to transfer your account before doing so to ensure your refund request is processed smoothly.
- Any unused paid V-Miles you hold at the time of service termination can be refunded if you make a request within the refund period (February 28, 2025, 3:00 PM (JST) to April 30, 2025, 10:00 AM (JST)).

Refunds will be calculated at 1.24 0.82 yen per 1 V Mile (rounded up) in Japanese yen.
- 【Unused Expiring Free V-Miles Converted from ANA Miles】

- Any unused Expiring Free V-Miles converted from ANA Miles will be converted to an equivalent amount of ANA Miles in your ANA Mileage Club account that is linked with "ANA GranWhale" after March 1, 2025.
You don't need to make any special requests for this conversion. However, if your ANA Mileage Club account is not linked to "ANA GranWhale," we will be unable to transfer the miles. Please ensure the link remains active until the service ends.
- Any unused Expiring Free V-Miles converted from ANA Miles will be converted to an equivalent amount of ANA Miles in your ANA Mileage Club account that is linked with "ANA GranWhale" after March 1, 2025.

- A. You can continue to use it until February 28, 2025, 3:00 PM (JST).
- Q. What happens to my unused Paid V-Miles?
- A. You can continue using them until the service ends.
If you have unused paid V-Miles at the time of service termination, you can request a refund during the refund period (February 28, 2025, 3:00 PM (JST) to April 30, 2025, 10:00 AM (JST)).

- A. You can continue using them until the service ends.
After service termination, any unused Expiring Free V-Miles will be converted to ANA Miles starting March 1, 2025.

- A. You can check the balance of your paid, free, and expiring free V-Miles by tapping the options menu in the top right corner of the screen and selecting "Account Information," then "Service Currency Information."
